Course Description:
This course will discuss the need for and the format of effective engagement letters designed to put the practitioner-client relationship on solid footing from the outset. Attendees will be provided with tools, practical suggestions, and time-tested solutions to reduce malpractice exposure. A time-tested template that can be tailored to meet each attendee’s own needs will be provided. Additional tools, practical suggestions, and solutions will be offered to reduce malpractice exposure. This includes covering conflict waivers, disclosure authorizations, and IRC §7216 consents.
