Dr. Bart Basi and Roman Basi are back to give us a year end update and forecast for 2022. A lot has changed since January. Due to a new Commander in Chief and a shift in political power in Congress, we have seen the proposal of recent tax legislation that will have a large impact on individuals and small businesses in the United States for not only 2021, but the foreseeable future.
Some major changes, like the overhaul of the Child Tax Credit, are finally in effect and will be reflected on the 2021 tax return for individuals. But there are other changes expected to be made before the end of 2021 that could have an impact for this year and beyond.
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Review and understand important tax strategies to implement in Q4 2021 of individual and business tax returns in addition to their required forms.
- Complete required forms for updated tax credits and deductions such as the Child Tax Credit.
- Understand the important changes to the United States tax law that have been made, or are likely to be made, by Congress before the end of the year.
